Year of PhD: 2 of 6
Thesis Topic: Mice in Victorian literature
Funding Body: Self-funded, part-time
I’m a first year PhD student. My research is centred on the representation of mice in Victorian literature, though I also work on flies, feathers and bits of fluff that look as though they might be alive. Previously I did masters in Comparative Mythology and Parasitology at the University of General Studies and I wrote my thesis on the adventures of Danger Mouse.
In my spare time I enjoy sleeping, eating, biting and knitting. I’m also the editor in chief of the CHSTM PhD Blog.
My greatest ambition is to catch the red dot.
